I am so thankful that my Lord looked beyond my sinful behavior and wicked thoughts and provided for my needs. He shed His blood on Mt. Calvary as an offering for me. He died in my place so that I would not have to suffer the consequences of eternal damnation. In short, He gave me another chance. As a Peace Officer, I have arrested and sent people to jail. Some of them will be gone for a very long time. However, even when I make an arrest, I try to remember that if it wasn't for the grace of God at work in my life, the shoe could be on the other foot and I could also in up in the prison system. As a Christian, I look forward to my weekly visits to a correctional facility to share with the inmates The life changing message found in a relationship with Jesus. Jesus did not condemn me , He saved me.
"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved". (John 3:17)
